Refund policy

We want you to enjoy every cup. If something is not right, here is how returns work.

Right of withdrawal (14 days)
If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason. To do so, email us at cautionhot.coffeeroasters@gmail.com with your order number and a clear statement that you wish to withdraw.

Because coffee is a food product, for health and hygiene reasons we can only accept returns of bags that are unopened and still sealed. Once the seal of a bag has been broken after delivery, that bag can no longer be returned.

Please send the items back within 14 days of notifying us, to: Caution Hot, Rua Doutor Almeida Amaral 15A, 1150-137 Lisboa, Portugal. Unless the return is due to our error, the cost of return shipping is paid by the customer.

Refunds
We will refund the full price of the returned items plus the original standard shipping cost within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice. We may wait until we have received the items back (or proof that you have sent them) before issuing the refund. Refunds are made to the original payment method.

Damaged, defective or wrong items
If your order arrives damaged, defective or is not what you ordered, please email us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. We will send a replacement or give you a full refund, including any shipping costs. This does not affect your statutory rights under the legal guarantee of conformity.

Exceptions
Opened bags and sale items marked as final sale cannot be returned, except where they are defective.
