Caution Hot is a specialty coffee roastery and coffee bar in Pena, Lisbon.

Every coffee we sell is roasted in small batches at our micro-roastery, a few metres from the bar.

We don’t roast everything the same way. Each lot gets its own profile, built around what that coffee does best.

WHERE OUR COFFEE COMES FROM
We buy green coffee from importers we know and trust, and directly from our partner producers.

FRESH, ALWAYS
We roast to order. Your coffee ships within 2–5 business days of your order.

OUR STORY

2022
First 20 kg of green coffee — a Brazil, bought from a roaster friend. Roasting starts at home.

2023
First wholesale: a local café and a kiosk in Lisbon. Bags for friends, then friends of friends.

2024
Home roasting can’t keep up anymore. We move to a rented production roaster.

11 DECEMBER 2025
Caution Hot opens in Pena, Lisbon — a coffee bar, showroom and micro-roastery under one roof.

Online shop. Shipping across Portugal, Europe and beyond.

THE NAME
It’s printed on every coffee lid, and we say it all day long. So it became our name.
